CONSTRUCTION MANAGERS/ENGINEERS
Construction Managers are now required to manage site aspects of multi-discipline construction projects. These projects can range from multi-million pound single projects to a portfolio of small projects. Our client seeks construction professionals who can not only manage the construction phase of a project but also provide construction knowledge to project teams such as to advise designers and contract staff. Activities include developing construction strategies, establishing construction management teams, providing construction expertise to projects teams, delivering Principal Contractor duties in compliance with the CDM Regulations, managing construction contractors and their compliance with site regulations and procedures and developing and promoting construction management best practice.

Ideally degree qualified and Chartered or working towards chartered status, you will have proven multi-discipline construction experience. Ideally you will have an engineering background in nuclear, chemical, or other heavy industry.

CONSTRUCTION CLERKS OF WORKS
Construction Clerks of Works are an integral part of construction management teams and are key to assuring quality and safety. Working within a construction management team this role provides the technical and organisational skills to help manage large multi-discipline construction sites, and involves surveillance of construction contractors, inspection and acceptance of completed work, monitoring and promoting safety on construction sites and reporting progress and support to commercial activities.

Qualified to ONC/from a trade background, you will have extensive proven construction experience. Experience of major multi-disciplined projects would be advantageous.
