This very successful and highly respected Engineering Consultancy provides innovative, high quality engineering services to a range of major engineering projects, serving government, regulatory, Blue Chip and a wide range of private sector clients across the world.

They now require talented Design Engineers/Naval Architects to join an expanding team within the Marine Technology Group. The ideal candidate will be degree qualified in Ship Science or Mechanical Engineering, with experience of designing Marine based structures (ships, submarines, yachts or ancillary equipment) in steel, aluminium or composite materials. Good analytical skills using Strand7 or Ansys FEA, as well as a flair for producing creative design solutions to challenging problems, are required. Experience of stability analysis, Seakeeping and 3D CAD (Unigraphics or Pro-E) a distinct advantage.

The position offers the chance to work on a variety of projects, both Marine and non-Marine, with the opportunity to spend periods of time working at customer sites.
